The West Side Rowing Club is now accepting applications for 2010 Summer competitive and Crew Camp programs:

 

Senior Men, Senior Women and Competitive Junior programs: Programs would begin training in mid June and end after the Canadian Henley Regatta.  Main responsibilities will include:

- The training of athletes with a focus on the improvement of technique and boat moving skills in sculling or sweep boats, while maximizing the athlete’s potential on and off the water.

- The ability to work with other coaches and club members
- Compliance with all club rules with the emphasis on safety both on and off the water.
- Travel and supervision of athletes at the away regattas

All the positions offer a stipend and paid travel expenses for away regattas.

Crew Camp Director: The 2010 Crew Camp will be held in two sessions beginning on July 6^th and ending on August 13^th.  The Camp will run from 8:30am until noon daily.  The Crew Camp Director will be responsible for organizing and managing a staff of 8 coaches and up to 80 kids between the ages of 12 and 15.  The position comes with a competitive hourly wage and at least two years of coaching experience is necessary.  Interested candidates can must send a resume and 3 references to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
