Ladies & Gentlemen, your 2012 Sr. Mens 4+ New York State Champions and Row2k.com "Crew of the Week" for May 15!!! This crew won the race by .24 seconds and the international on-line poll by .2% of the vote! Thanks to all who voted and all who support the crews from every program of the West Side Rowing Club!!!

The 2012 John Bennett Regatta was a HUGE success! Thank you to all of the programs, coaches, crews, parents, volunteers and supporters for making this the largest and most competitive John Bennett Regatta ever held in Buffalo! In 1912, The West Side Rowing Club was founded with the mission to advance of the physical, mental, and moral well being of the youth of the City of Buffalo, New York and surrounding communities by education, training, instruction, and participation in the art of rowing and other athletic pursuits. To compliment this mission, The West Side Rowing Club also offers several programs for adults who want to support the mission of West Side and experience rowing in either a recreational or competitive program. In 2012, West Side will be offering an Adult Learn to Row program, an Adult Recreational Rowing program and a competitive Masters rowing program.

Spring Modified Rowing | |
The West Side Rowing Club Spring Modified Camp is the perfect way to get started or to build on previous rowing experience. New athletes will be introduced to the fundamentals of the sport and experienced rowers will continue to refine and enhance their skills in a fun, relaxed, and engaging environment. The camp is open to athletes ages 12-17 and costs $105 per session. Each three-week session will run on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM, and will end with an exciting exhibition race at one of the West Side Rowing Club’s home regattas! The first session will go from April 21s through May 6th and the second session will go from May 12th through May 28th. Click the links below to register! The West Side Rowing Club will be running two sessions of its incredibly successful Youth Crew Camp this July and August! Session I will go from July 9th through July 27th, 2012. Session II will go from July 30th through August 17th, 2012. The Camp meets Monday through Friday from 8:30am until noon each day and no experience is needed to join! The cost of the camp is $435 per participant.
